Business Development Executive

Reporting to our Head of Marketing your mission is critical to Endeco Technologies' growth plans. You will be responsible for supporting the Sales Team through the generation of leads and 'first meetings'. Driving the leads down the pipeline is at the heart of this role: You will capture, qualify, educate, convince and nurture all inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaigns. You will also support and provide input on other marketing activities. Business Development Manager

Reporting to the UK Managing Director, the role would be suitable for a mature individual with a background in sales and business development, with an ability to build a long-term, strategic pipeline. The candidate would also need to have experience managing multiple stakeholders and gaining sign off from various C-Level executives up to Board level. The ideal candidate would be familiar with the UK energy market and should also be able to demonstrate proficiency and know-how regarding an enterprise-type sales process and cycle as well as an awareness of technology and software development. Energy Support Engineer

Reporting to the Head of Operations and based in Dublin.

Major Accountabilities:

Carrying out energy analysis on customer data to determine efficiency savings, site energy usage issues and additional savings opportunities for both Ireland and UK clients.

Investigate new areas where added value through energy management and energy schemes available can be brought to the client base.

Preparing presentations and reports for Endeco’s customer base and meeting with the clients and develop energy efficiency plans as required

Support and deal with system and customer alarms as required.

Interface effectively with customers to answer queries, resolve requests and source required analysis documentation.

Support Endeco smart grid services; application processes, generating and carrying out weekly and real-time declarations, declaration analysis, dispatch management, site/application alarms and generating customer statements. 

Endeco’s head end controller support for deployment team.

Customer Portal configuration and support for new and existing customer base.

Internal project management as required; assisting with site work packages, stock management.

Provide feedback to the development team on tools and services to assist with energy analysis.

Other activities and new service offerings that may arise as the role develops

 

Required Experience and Skills

Energy engineering degree or equivalent

Good understanding of energy usage, energy billing across industrial and commercial retail buildings.

Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills

Produce presentations and reports to a professional standard

Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative without immediate hands on support

Organized, energetic and self-motivated

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of software tools

System Specification and Commissioning Engineer

Reporting to the Head of Operations and based in Watford. Travel will be required across the UK (80%).

Major Accountabilities:

Site surveys of perspective customer sites in the Metals, Aggregates, Wood, Pulp and Paper, and Food Distribution sectors identifying suitable load for smart grid integration, and the required system specification (metering, control and communications equipment) for integration with Endeco’s services.

Carrying out energy analysis on customer data to determine opportunities and to assist with the technical aspects of sales proposals

Liaising with head of operations and deployment team to specify the requirements for a customer installation

Interfacing with customer site based engineering staff and third party contractors as part of an Endeco system installation and site equipment integration

On-site commissioning of Endeco’s metering, control and communication systems

Electrical testing and fault finding on control and monitoring equipment

Carrying out energy analysis on customer data to determine additional savings and revenue generation opportunities

Interface effectively with customers to answer queries and resolve requests

Internal project management as required; assisting with site work packages, stock management etc.

Provide feedback to the development team on tools and services to assist with system specification and integration

Required Experience and Skills

PLC systems; interface and setup

Energy metering equipment; configuration and setup

Communications equipment; LAN routers, 3G sim cards

Communications protocols; Modbus TCP or RTU, PROFIBUS, CAN bus

Digital and Analogue systems integration; e.g. I/O, 4-20mA, Voltage signals etc.

Training will be provided where skills gaps exist.

Experience working in industrial or commercial environments

Electrical/Software/Mechanical/Energy Engineering degree or equivalent

An electrical qualification such as 17th edition is preferable however not essential if the candidate can demonstrate the required level of electrical competency.

Understanding of energy usage, energy billing across industrial and commercial retail buildings an advantage.

Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills

Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative without immediate hands on support in diverse locations across the UK.

Organized, energetic and self-motivated

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of software tools

Hold a current UK skills card

A level of health and safety training is desirable, although further training will be given

A full UK driving license will be required

System Specification and Technical Project Manager

Reporting to: Head of Operations and based in Watford. Travel will be required across the UK (80%). Depending on candidate location there also is the opportunity to work from home and visit the office when required.

Major Accountabilities:

Site surveys of perspective customer sites in the Metals, Aggregates, Wood, Pulp and Paper, and Food Distribution sectors identifying suitable load and generation assets for smart grid service integration (smart grid incentive schemes, load shifting and efficiency opportunities).

Specifying the required system hardware (metering, control and communications equipment) for site asset integration with Endeco’s customer services.

Carrying out energy analysis on customer data to determine the commercial value of opportunities and to assist with the technical aspects of sales meetings and proposals.

Liaising with the sales team across GB to provide technical sales support for perspective customers.

Manage the delivery of new customer projects; liaising with head of operations and deployment team to specify the requirements for a customer installation and project rollout.

Interfacing with customer site based engineering staff and third party contractors as part of Endeco system installation and site asset control integration.

On-site commissioning and test of Endeco’s control interface with third party control contractors.

Carrying out energy analysis on customer data to determine additional savings and revenue generation opportunities.

Interface effectively with customers to answer queries and resolve requests.

Internal project management as required; assisting with site work packages etc.
